"To say that the service level at Hamilton Mill Animal Hospital is outstanding would be a massive understatement. Our family recently had to make the very difficult position to say goodbye to one of our beloved dogs. After a difficult week of late night emergency vet visits and declining health, Hamilton Mill Animal Hospital supported us through scheduling a last minute Friday afternoon appointment. Their ENTIRE staff exuded the utmost respect, empathy, and support the whole time we were in the office. All of our questions were answered and we were constantly reminded to take our time and not feel rushed. The vet techs and vet made us feel like family and walked us through every step of the way. The separate room we were in was beautifully decorated and created a calm environment for us and our pet, who was always terrified of veterinary offices. We were able to choose from a variety of memorial options, to include clay paw prints and having our sweet Ella cremated. We did not know what to expect, as this was the first time we have had to say goodbye to a pet, and Hamilton Mill Animal Hospital went above and beyond to ensure that we are able to remember Ella for years to come. One of the things we did not expect was for her remains to be encased in a beautiful wooden box. Another surprise received this week in the mail was a sweet card that was hand-signed by all of the staff at the practice. We are looking forward to planting Ella's wildflowers on our land that we will be moving to in the near future. Saying goodbye to a family member is nearly impossible, but Hamilton Mill Animal Hospital made this difficult process more dignified and respectful than we could have ever imagined."
